The PYP recognizes the importance of concepts, knowledge and skills but also believes these alone do not make an internationally minded person. It is vital that we also focus on the development of personal attitudes towards people, the environment, and learning. These attitudes contribute to the well-being of the individual and of the group. By deciding that the attitudes are an essential element of the programme, we are making a commitment to a values-laden curriculum.
