ISB Parent Teacher Student Association:
Building Community Together

What is the PTSA?

The Parent Teacher Student Association is keen to support new families and help them to settle in, as well as being a resource for established families. Through activities such as the room parents program, coffee mornings and seminars we hope to promote communication between parents and the school, and help build a supportive network. Any questions or suggestions can be emailed through to [email protected]

How to Get Involved?

All parents, faculty and administrative staff are automatically members of the PTSA and are welcome to come along to meetings and get involved. The PTSA is composed of parent volunteers and works closely with our faculty representatives, Student Dragon Leaders. If you are interested in joining the PTSA, becoming a room parent, volunteering for a specific event or just generally interested, send us an email - [email protected] - or have a chat with any member of the PTSA. The PTSA and its activities cannot happen without the active support of the parents, so please, come along and get involved.  No experience is necessary and we can always find a task to suit any willing person.

The PTSA organizes a number of events throughout the year. As well as being great fun, these events provide an avenue for the students to display their talents and for parents to become more informed about the school.

Any funds raised at these events are used to support school events, programs and facilities, or donated to charity.

In addition we run or assist with a number of other events during the year, from Bingo nights to sports day.  So there's plenty going on.
