Welcome to the Primary School at the International School of Belgrade (ISB), an innovative and progressive learning community that places students’ learning and wellbeing at the center of every action and every decision.

    ISB is the only fully authorized International Baccalaureate World School in Belgrade and at the Primary School we offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5. Our Primary School academic program is empowering, engaging and challenging with a laser focus on ensuring that all of our learners become competent readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists. Further, our learners have weekly opportunities to engage with Music, Physical Education, Visual Art, Dance and World Languages classes facilitated by specialist teachers who are some of the best in their fields.
     
    As a truly student-centered school that believes in the development of the whole-child, we offer a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities outside school hours at no additional cost to families. These activities cultivate our learner’s curiosity and promote a love for learning, support our learner’s cognitive, social and physical development, and provide opportunities for our learners to try new things and promote their growth mindset.

    We are very proud of our strong and well resourced Student Support Services composed of experienced learning support educators, a school counselor and psychologist as well as English as a Second Language teachers who provide support for students who need extra help and/or are learning English.
