Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), is a core of the Diploma Programme.

It is designed to assist student’s personal and interpersonal learning, and reaffirming the academic development, through trying new and challenging experiences, not related to content studied as a part of subjects’ curricula.

CAS experiences will encourage students to develop and pursue their passions, and invite them to think reflectively on undertaken experiences.

CAS experiences revolve around one or more strands:
  • Creativity – where students explore and extend ideas leading to an original or interpretive product or performance;
  • Activity – where physical exertion contributes to a healthy lifestyle;
  • Service – where collaborative and reciprocal engagement with the community is undertaken in response to an authentic need.
The completion of the CAS program in its entirety is the pre-requisite for obtaining an IB Diploma, and is additionally an ISB graduation requirement.
