The performing arts serve as a powerful vehicle for self-expression, allowing students to delve into aspects of their identity and express emotions in ways that may not be encouraged during other parts of the school day.

Collaboration is key in the performing arts. Students learn the importance of teamwork, time management, and the art of challenging and exploring ideas. They also develop empathy as they engage with diverse perspectives and experiences.

We offer a range of after-school programs in performing arts, including instrumental and vocal tuition groups. Students of all ages and skill levels can participate and hone their talents.

Our annual Secondary and Primary school productions are highlights of the school year, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of an audience. In addition, our lunchtime concert series and community events, such as our annual Spring fair, offer further opportunities for students to perform and engage with the wider community.

ISB is proud to be an active member of the CEESA network and the International School Theatre Association (ISTA). We regularly participate in and host performing arts festivals and events, connecting our students with peers worldwide and enriching their experiences in the performing arts.
